Constitution of the United States

The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America.  Created on September 17, 1787 with 39 signatories, ratified June 21, 1788, and went into effect on March 4, 1789.  Since being ratified, it has been amended 17 times with the first 10 amendments known collectively as the Bill of Rights.
